Dear Pharmaceutical Professionals,

On behalf of the entire Organising Committee, I invite you all to the 70th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress scheduled to be held w.e.f. 21st-23rd December, 2018 at Amity University, Noida.

Five years ago, Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association organised the 65thIndian Pharmaceutical Congress at the same campus, where I was honored to be the President of the Congress. During my Presidential address

I had shared my dreams for the Pharmaceutical fraternity of India, encompassing as our vision, mission and wisdom for all my professional brothers and sisters. Since that day we all have been striving hard to make it a reality, whether it's the innovation or invention, for empowering the pharmacist.

Today, I gather this opportunity to be back for the service of Pharmacy profession with an enhanced vision and setting a bar at par excellence. With this year's theme as “Pharma Vision 2030 : Indian Pharma Industry - A Global Leader” we move a step ahead in making India a prime leader within the World Pharmaceutical Sector. At this eventful congress we proceed to make India sufficient at each level and every sector, be it Formulations, API's, Medical Devices or Bio similar.

Bringing the newness in the scientific deliberations in the congress, the organising committee has come up with new initiatives to engage the delegates fully involved in the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences. This year, we have designed the new model for Training, Placement and Entrepreneurship for student delegates, where International Recruitments, Startup and Skill Development programs would be part of the pharmaceutical congress. A Women Empowerment Committee has also been made to look after the valuable need and leadership of the Women working within the Pharmacy profession.

The LOC formed by the Central IPGA core team is making all necessary arrangements to make your participation eventful and memorable. You all are cordially invited to participate in the 70th IPC to make the event a grand success. Health being a fundamental right of each and every citizen of the country and pharmacist being an integral part of the healthcare system let us resolve to unite and work together for fulfilling the dream of our beloved Prime Minister to make India "A Swasth Bharat".

With new commitments, young enthusiasm and distinguished approach we are all set to make this event a historic one. I take this opportunity to invite you all to make your valuable contribution for the success of 70th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress.

Let us all join hands for this valuable, change making journey.
